A Non-Comprehensive List of Bra Brands
Where are we shopping for our bras?
Below are some of the bra brands I peeped during my hunt for one, plastic-free bra, along with my notes on fabric and parts composition. I’ll try to keep this list updated from time to time.
“There are hundreds of articles listing the “best” and cheapest bras, where you will never find a single one that’s any less than 80% plastic. Those listicles (Buzzfeed, New York Mag Wirecutter, etc) are why I’m wearing the “Feathers” Natori bra (93% nylon, 7% elastane: 100% plastic) right now, one I’ve owned for years.”

Some notes:
Just because I wrote “mostly plastic,” doesn’t mean the brand won’t have a natural fiber bra in the future. I reviewed at least 5-10 bras from each brand to get a sense of what they offer.
Some of these brands may sell natural fiber undies; my comments are only about the bras and what touches the nips.
I found a lot of cool brands which is part of why I wanted to compile this resource! My notes don’t judge whether these brands are good or bad; it’s just data on their product offerings.

negative underwear whipped bralette is my ride or die!
Thanks for the list, I found a link to it elsewhere on the 'net! I've been looking everywhere for sustainable undergarments </3 I would love if you included a note on the size range of each brand, because I checked every starred-and-hearted one on your list and the only one that comes in my size is the "please contact us and we'll see what we can do" section of the custom orders on Buttress&Snatch, and going through all those tabs was a little progressively heartbreaking lol!!
I don't really wanna doxx my bra size exactly but there's a good couple dozen options for off-the-shelf bra brands for me, so I'm not fully custom, I'm just out of the ethical range I guess. Alas!
